Journalist, author, and local historian, of Cleveland, Ohio. Wickham was the first woman to hold an editorial position on a Cleveland newspaper. Her entry into journalism was as a weekly contributor to the Sunday Post, and later as a fashion columnist with the Cleveland Herald beginning in 1878, which resulted in the creation of a women's department.
